Thanks :D They are definitely fun bikes. And you're right on the PUSH link, changed the descents and didn't sacrifice too much on the climbs.

Never even noticed it, but I took it off this weekend. I assume that's what it is. I took it for a short 4 miler Saturday morning. Had fun but it's been a while.

I demoed about five bikes this weekend at the Evergreen Mountain bike festival. The one I probably felt the best on was the Specialized Stumpjumper Carbon Comp Evo 650B. The Rocky Mountain Altitude was a close second.

Do you guys ever do trail work? Did my second trail work day this weekend and loved it! Honestly, it's almost as fun as riding to me. Although it was a good day since we cut in 1/4 mile of all new trail. I love seeing riders faces as they come screaming past us working, theres always a huge grin.

Trail work is fun for sure! I like doing it because I can add a feature or two here and there to make a trail a little more fun/challenging.

A friend of mine rode the Yeti. He said it felt really good but the Specialized was just a little better feeling. I didn't want to wait that long to demo the Yeti so I didn't. I wanted to ride the Bronson and the 5010 but the wait was too long on those as well. I currently ride a 29er and I ride a Trek but I am not a brand fan boy so liking the Specialized was a little surprising. The Trek Remedy 650B was a little too slack for my liking. The medium I test rode also felt really small to me.

The review of the Specialized 650B on MTBR was not the same one that I rode so they must have redesigned it. There was not a head tube spacer and the frame did not look like a cobbled 29er front triangle and a new rear triangle.

Check the reviews on the Yeti on MTBR. Should be some good ones for sure. I ride a Yeti and I love it!! I was going to go with a Specialized but went with the Yeti instead after giving Giant some consideration also. No regrets, that's for sure.

I also ride a Yeti(sb66 carbon)was unaware that they were making the sb75 in carbon? Anyhow, absolutely awesome bike! I built mine up with a 160 Pike, Cane Creek Double Barrel Air, xt brakes and 1x11.. Bike just rips on everything! It's also the 3rd Yeti I've owned.. 575, ASR-7 and now the SB66C

There is no SB75 carbon. He'd have to go with either a SB66 or SB95 in carbon. If he's set on a 27.5 he'd be out of luck.

ah, yeah that's what I thought.. I rode with a buch of Yeti employees a few months back and they were all on SB66c's.. Absolutely love that bike, but if I had to go with a 27.5 I think I'd go with the Pivot Mach 6... Ridden that bike several times since Pivot is local, and that thing is a ripper!! I'll be going with their new carbon Phoenix for my next DH bike.. Already placed my pre oder so I can get one as soon as they come into their HQ

I rode the Pivot Mach 5.7 and 429 both Carbon. I really liked the DW link when climbing. The Yeti my friend rode was the 575. The Pivots were nice but not my favorite. I thought I was going to be really impressed but was let down a little.
