It was pretty good. What it sounds like, is that the Russians were testing a two stage missile at the mountain that the 9 hikers were camped out at. The place is normally deserted, so the Russian military assumed a two stage missile test there would be fine. The missile got tested, scared the shit out of the 9 hikers (explosions right by them) so they fled towards the forest where the Yeti was watching them. It leads us to determine that the Yeti only attacks humans when feeling threatened (like most animals) and the explosions and 9 hikers running towards where it was hiding resulted in the Yeti tearing them to pieces.

That skin walker shit always scares the hell out of me when I'm camping.

I read a story about one guys buddy went to take a leak and he came back hours later in the middle of night and seemed off. He kept trying to get the story teller to "check something out" that caused him to be missing for hours. It was just the story teller and the buddy who was suddenly acting strange so he refused. When they drove back he kept acting erratically. They got home and the buddy kept trying to "lure" people to the same camp site. Eventually his strange behaviour made all of his old friends cut contact with him.

That story just creeps me out.

That's my thought as well. But why weren't they robbed though? And when doing inventory of their stuff, the surviving guy (that ended up not going on the trip) was identifying their belongings and a military shoulder bag was found. Their clothing had higher than normal levels of radiation. I'm thinking that pic of the "yeti" was a Russian dude in a radiation suit and they were doing some weird shit out there and the hikers just happened to be in the wrong place at the wrong time and they all got smoked. Weird that the 2 dudes that died of hypothermia didn't go into the woods though, unless they thought the radiation suit guy was a yeti. Sounds like a shit show regardless, and those people died a scary death one way or another.

Just finished watching it and dunno, I wanna believe, but the way they make the documentary seem like the mockumenteries they did of the mermaids. Ugh I hate it. It was at times too sketchy. They threw a lot of evidence in there, but in the end, they came up with nothing new of their own. Meh. That survivor man is doing a hunt as well for big foot with some other guy. That one looks a bit better, but I have been wrong before.

You guys watched the cheesy Discovery Channel one. There was another 2 hour one that was much better and wasn't set up like a mocumentary. I think it was on NatGeo or one of those other cable channels though, not Discovery.

Just looked it up... it was on the History channel back on June 1. Back in 2011, the History channel also did another similar show about this same incident and had it on their Ancient Aliens program, trying to say that this was an alien attack instead. Now they're spinning it to be a Yeti or "other" attack, based on the pictures in the negatives and the fact that some of the students were not attacked but refused to go into the woods and died of exposure. I found that this one on the History channel had far better interviews with both the 10th guy that didn't go on the trip (still alive) and the researchers who have studied this case and archived all of the evidence (which they showed). It seemed way more credible than anything Discovery did about it.

You guys ever check out the live feeds NASA used to have with the STS missions ?? You see things that even the most hardened skeptic will fail or at least be hard pressed to come up with plausible explanations
