    I say it'll take a good 2.5 days.. I'm in N. Alabama and it's 27 hours to Moab. But that's I-10 through Texas so if I bumped up to St. Louis to meet y'all it'd add more for me but idk I have unlimited vacation time! Just limited money! Lol

    Like as far as the truck goes? Minimum is rear locker and 33 all terrain tires. Minimum for hard to fix body damage and drivetrain damage is add sliders and ifs skid. Minimum for the best chance of no body or drivetrain damage add trans skid, tcase skid, metal front and rear bumper.

    yeah id say ideally for a 2nd gen to have the easiest time with "normal mods", you would want a parts list something like:

    mid travel setup (ext coilovers, aftermarket ucas, ext brake lines front and rear, aftermarket leaf pack, longer rear shocks)
    35" aggressive A/Ts or M/Ts
    front and rear lockers (air or mechanical)
    full skids (ifs, trans, tcase)
    sliders

    with that list everything is bolt on and will take you anywhere another similarly equipped truck or jeep could go

    then stuff like air compressor for tires, winch and other recovery stuff, a few aftermarket lights, a spare tire/ cv axle, tie rod ends, hub, gas can etc ........ would be things that are highly recommended for the "shit happens" moments
