I just got off the phone with the management company of the hoa. He said my design was approved.... I said well that's good news because I'll be done tomorrow, you can come look at it. I don't think he was too happy hahaha.

 

maybe having a colorado flag on my truck would seem douchey to you guys who have lived here your whole lives, but being from Indiana, I'm so stoked to rock this now

 

I like it! And I'm a native. Here is what I got done today. Still needs a LOT of finishing, but can be rocked in Moab.

Don't worry, I put it in the recycle bin. Whatever that Tacoma steel gets turned into will be frickin amazing. What if it happened to go into a sword?! It could probably cut the planet in half.

Yeah those spring hangers look pretty vulnerable now. Shouldn't have sold those shackle flips to Noah oh well, they have a good home.

 

so is that the more complicated design or the simpler one? never saw a mock up of either so... thinking the simpler design as it's was the higher clearance you said and well... that's a lot of clearance LOL

 

It's neither. A variation of the simpler one that is a bit more complicated. I cut off probably 7-8" from the bedsides.

 

ha of course! I was just worried that it might fall into the wrong hands...
