Had a productive day. I changed my rear diff and transfer case fluid. I added some more gasket material under my topper hopefully that will stop the little leak I had upfront. Mounted my new cobra 75 and mag mount antenna and I bent up a panel to hold my blue seas aux fuse panel.

My truck looks weird without the topper on it. But thank god for using the over head crane in the hangar made it pretty easy.

And where it will be plugging in and in its holder when in use. But I will just keep it in the center console when it's not in use .

New member here, so I hope I'm posting in the correct thread.

I was wondering on any local experience with Kendall Toyota here in Anchorage. I've finally decided to buy a Tacoma, but it seems the one visit I made I was blown off by a sales rep who didn't take me serious enough. I have a few questions I was hoping other locals could answer:

Does Kendall really only sell at MSRP? The sales rep wouldn't budge off it, and basically gave me free fees (doc/license $450) on an SR5 6spd they had sitting on the lot. I see people in the lower 48 getting closer to invoice pricing.

Does anyone recommend a good sales rep? I know I'm not going to get a wonderfully amazing steal of a deal up here, but I'd like somebody who actually gave a shit that I was there and willing to throw $30k down on a new truck.

Has anyone ordered their own truck? How long does it take? I've decided on an AC 4x4 TRD Sport in 6spd with Etune plus, just not sure on color. The sales rep I dealt with told me 60-120 days, but I didn't really trust him.

Thanks for any input and feedback. I can't wait until I can finally put buying a new vehicle behind me.

How long you think it'd think to do? I'm down any day after work. I'll have to hit up Ben and see when we can use his driveway and hopefully tools lol.

You only need pretty basic tools. Socket wrench and breaker bar. A few jack stands and a floor jack. Bottle jack too probably to align the springs.

That's where I plan to do it haha.
I'd plan a couple hours at the most. I've never had an issue with rears taking too long.
