If its only for a short time till you build your swing out then get a 15$ ratchet strap and call it done. When you are done wheeling you can put it back in the regular spare spot or you can just leave it w/ the ratchet strap. No modification is required. If you want pics of how i did it let me know. super easy.

EDIT: Its a lot more sturdy if you mount it vertically rather than diagonally. Its diagonal in my picture but i currently have it vertical.

How do I go about painting this thing with dupli color lunar mist spray paint? Sand and paint or can I just paint?

I pretty much always sand anything i want to paint. You don't have to go crazy sanding it but it would be ideal to rough it up a little with some fine grit at least.

hmm well that makes it a bit harder to find a spot for it...

Looks like your between a rock and a hard place. The only places i can think to mount it would be: in the bed somewhere, tire carrier for bumper (i know you don't have one yet..), under the bed of truck, or the roof of the cab but you would probably dent the shit out of the roof lol..

Complete OME kit w/ 881's and dakars. All-Pro Sliders, CB, HAM Radio and various other minor stuff.
I'd remove everything possible, use a fine grit sandpaper before washing it and wiping it with a tack cloth. Then, use a fiberglass primer and finish with the duplicolor and top coat.

should be good with 220 - 400 IMO. if there is some stuff that looks like it could need sanding id go 220 - 300.. if its already in pretty good shape and just needs to be roughed up go with 400.

Made a quick video my my exhaust now. It's crazy loud after about 3k rpm. I will see if I can get the decibel meter to register it in the cab. Headers, no cats, aero turbine.

It sucks a lot of air now! And a lot of fuel. My last tank was 17.5 mpg though.

That's what my 3.4 sounded like for 16 years until I finally need a change and got a stock 2013 muffler for free. It sounds like a Cadillac now
