    4 hours?!
As clean as your truck looks, you must've used a toothbrush and a toothpick! I'm thinking soak and rinse and repeat with spray on cleanser.?

It took me about 2 hours to clean the outside of the Odd Green Taco. Still have to vacuum all the dirt out of the inside though. My engine bay didn't have anything like what you guys had. Just a light spray.

I've reached a conclusion after that trip though. I've been pushing the old girl trying to find her limits and I think I did on that trip, not just because of the busted CVs, but from some other damage as well, like the left rear fender the tire self-clearanced and I took a pretty hard hit on the fwd skid that buckled the mounting point it bolts to in front which I think is the core support, although I'm not entirely sure about that. I've getting more confident and less cautious with her but, after this trip, I think I need to back it down a notch or five.

Doesn't mean I'm not going to wheel hard, just that I'm going to easy up on putting her in insane situations and then continuing to hammer on her once she's wounded. :p

I'm going to adopt a more Colson-type approach, as opposed to the Eric-type I've been working on. :D

I also use Scratch X. How did that scratch on the fender turn out Mike?

I polished and washed before i went out with ya'll. The pressure washer took care of the painted surfaces like new, everything else looks like crap.

It's still there, scratch X didn't help but that's the worst of it. Almost all the little pin stripes came out.

    Haha. :D

To be honest, you guys who haven't wheeled with me before really didn't get to see the Odd Green Taco at her best. I broke that CV practically right out of the gate and she was definitely having a lot tougher time negotiating obstacles than is normal...which just made me hammer on her all the more to make her perform. A lot of that stuff, particularly in that Trail 14 washout area where we had lunch and I broke the second CV, she usually makes that look easy where as she was struggling with it due to a lame front-end. The sand hills...well, she usually struggles with those regardless. The Swampers don't care for sand much. As soon as they start spinning, they go right to China and the Odd Green Taco doesn't have enough motor to spin them hard enough to stay on top of the sand.

Haha, no total time. If I took that long on the engine then I think I'd need professional help. Haha
The engine compartment was 10 mins at the most. The pressure washer made quick work of that.

I didnt cover anything, never have. I just didnt spray directly on the alternator or battery. I would think most things are water resistant, water gets up there when driving in the rain.
