Yes, that is with Plastidip. You have to mask it off and lay down the dip very fast. I put about 4 coats on in a matter of a minute then peeled the masking tape before it dried. It will look very wet and goopy but it smooths as it dries out.

This stuff is super forgiving. It will peel right off if you eff it up. I did my tails a few weeks ago, didn't like the results and peeled it off. Good as new like it never happened.

Ughhhhh.... I'm sooooo close to running out and getting some for this weekend, especially after your last post.

Really want to do away with my chrome factory grill... does it come off the "chrome" just as easy, and with no after effects?

Well, I'm now 99% convinced. Is the grill hard to take off? Do I really even need to take it off to do it? I'm def gonna do the badges, but I'd like to do the grill and maybe the eyelids too...

You could remove the grill. It's just two screws and two clips holding it in. Or, just mask it off and spray.

I'm sure there are tricks to removing the grill, I know you mentioned tabs. How much of a PITA are they to safely remove without breaking them?

Easy. Two screws, two tabs. Just lift the middle part of the tab up with a flathead screwdriver then pull the whole thing out.

    None yet.
Peel the tape off while the last coat is still wet.

I did the inside of my grille this weekend...Before and after.

The great thing about plastidip is if you screw up, change your mind or get tired of it just peel it off!
