Is the HF impact pneumatic or battery powered?

 

It's electric but it's corded. I don't have a very large compressor so an air gun didn't make sense for me.

No this is the newest version the m18 fuel. Its the big boy. Its supposed to have 600 ft lbs of torque. I got it on loan from a rep from grainger.

 

Mine are 30%. I got a new big R in the corner of my windshield because of it.

Rear window can be darker, I just got 20% on mine today..

 

Wait, so 30% is darker than 35%?

 

Yes, the % refers to the amount of light it allows in..so in other words 30% in means also 70% is blocked

 

Alex is the issue your impact or is it your compressor psi?

I'm running my compressor at 100-110psi, which should be plenty, but it's not strong at all

 

Also remember that the window does have about 3% tint from the factory. Mine was measuring 27% when inspecting.

Yesterday I made the mistake of posting on the "30 and Younger" thread. Yowzas! This morning there was something like 10 or 15 pages that I'd have to have backread to stay current. Which seemed too much like work, so I unsubbed it.

Ah yes, I remember you saying that. Do you have to take the tint off now? I guess I'll go with 35 then so I'll end up around 32ish with the factory glass.

According to MA tint laws, the rear windows are limited at 35% also. There's some talk about a loophole but I'm not seeing it. In my Tacoma, I had limo tint on the back window of the shell and the facotry tint on the rear window so it was pretty dark looking out the rear window but I could still see everything just fine. I want my rear window to net around 10% or so. I think the factory rear window is only like 50 - 70%, it's pretty light.

It's not all PSI, flow rate can make or brake a compressor. You need high CFM to effectively run air tools. I'd question again if it's your compressor. My compressor will run at 160 psi but won't effectively run air tools because it can't keep enough volume of air running through. Mine is good for about the first couple hits, then it doesn't have enough air to keep going.
