I did too but couldn't justify the cost. So was playing around and came up with this. Smoothed out all the mating surfaces and with a little oil/lube it shouldn't leave any marks around the bend. But I regret not making it slightly bigger, this one will only do up to 14" wide. should have made it larger and full width of the press.

Worked on my hangers today. I'm getting better, I just need to stay more consistent with my motion and and direction (push/pull)

I got my tank from CL and get my gas from Praxair. It seems to be the cheapest around here.

thank you. i'll give them a call tomorrow.

airgas wants $200 for the tank and $50-$60 for the gas. i was thinking of buying 2 tanks, one ar, and the other ar/co2. i believe $260 for a tank of gas sounds ridiculous. does $260 per tank sound normal?

what does a spool gun cost? airgas wants $301.xx otd.

200 for the tank should be a one time fee, once you own it you just swap them out for what ever a fill up costs.

and a good spool gun is gonna run ya some coin

Here in Dallas you can't get a bottle for less than $260.

And I paid $260 for my Hobart spool gun
