Don't get me wrong, I love the look of it. But, my confidence and ride quality have severely diminished. I have a 3" Toytec lift and 285's Duratracs. I commute an hour both ways up and down a twisty country road. My truck seems to wonder all over the road now, and a lot of the times when I go around turn my traction control comes on. Also the Toytec lift is creaky and squeaky. Has anybody else expiereneced this? Is it just something I have to deal with? Thanks for any input in advance to what I could! :(

^^This Did you install some UCA's with your lift? My truck wandered before I upgraded my UCA's. You might just need more caster in your alignment. As for the traction control, I don't know what can be done.

I have a 3" with OME springs and Bilstein 5100's with a 1.5" block in the back.

The traction control issue can be fixed with a VSC recalibration. I had to have toyota do that on my last truck after the lift.

I believe any of the uniball UCA's will increase your caster.

First thing to do is take that block out and throw in a AAL... Next thing to do is get some LR UCA's IMO.. that will dimish the wandering.. I have no idea why your traction control sensor is coming on.. I would recommend brining it to the dealer for that one.. bad sensor maybe?? it's a 2014 so that should be under warranty so get the sensor looked at.. billsteins set at 1.5 with 3 inch OME springs??? isn't that excessive?? I think most peop[le have it set at like .85... may want to look into that.. lastly get it aligned.

Yes, They probably wont charge you but it depends on the dealership. I just complained about it and they did it for free. It wont fix the rest of your problems though.

ALso, get your alignment numbers before shelling out money for UCAs.

Haha, wow! Looks like I should have done it differently! Almost thinking if I should take it back down to stock. I drive too much and depend on my truck for these things to happen to it!

Ok. So you are using the 884s for alittle height and then mixing them with the 5100s at 1.75 to get a full three inches. To be honest it not an ideal setup but it should work. Have an aliegnment done. If it is having trouble being aligned then get some new UCA. Light racing should meet you needs. If you have the money get Total chaos or Icon. The traction control issue can be fixed with the VSC recalibration. Goodluck.

Yea, the guy at the shop didn't know they could mix either, but Toytec was the one who suggested it.

Not a bad thought. You could try the .85. Should get you around 2 inches with the 884s. Then you could get a 1.5 or 2 inch add a leaf in the rear and ditch the block. But you will probably rub with your 285s. Your in a tough spot. For now keep the lift as is. And do what I said ealier. VSC racalibration... Alignment... (both can be done at toyota) then UCAs if need be,
