Honestly, Bobby has been doing a great freakin job communicating on the forum here. I've never met him or spoke to him, but knowing that he is working his butt off with little help I can't believe he's been taking the time to respond here at all. I could be pretty pissed about not getting my tent but man, whatever. I'm most likely missing the one big trip I had planned for the tent in mid July and could be venting hard on here. It won't change anything. Sure I'm extremely bummed but I've been camping in a tent my whole life. No reason to stress about doing it a few more times.

    Thanks Bobby.

Super easy to work with, great work, and custom options avail.
Tonneau under the rack is Lund.

I got a call from Bobby today, nice guy to talk with, sincerely sorry there is a delay with some of these shipping containers, I had ordered near the end of the GB anyways so I didn't expect to get mine anytime soon. But an update for those that haven't yet, he is working on calling people back. I had placed an order for a Shasta with stargazer, right now its looking like the container holding those won't land until the first week of July along with another container (not sure what of), then take another week or so with customs and to then get to the shop to ship out. Won't make it in time for the 4th of July weekend but that's ok. Plenty of other camping days this summer. Hope others are getting updated and are surviving the wait as well ;)

I'm sure he appreciates your patience! And thanks for sharing the update with everyone else.
I was thinking just now that Bobby said a while back that he would fill all GB orders before any new (post GB) order. If the GB tents are delayed then other orders are delayed as well. Everyone here got an amazing deal on a tent, the trade off being that you have to wait a little while to receive it. Other folks maybe be waiting just as long as you but they paid full price. How would you feel if you were in their situation? Or maybe those folks didn't want to wait and went elsewhere so the GB is actually hurting the business a little, not only are they (potentially) losing sales but the GB orders left a very small profit margin. Just trying to put things into perspective here...sorry if I'm rambling or speculating too much.

^^^ This. CVT did the group buy and didn't limit the number of tents, so being bombarded with almost 300 tents being sold, they are handling it very well in my opinion!
