I've got 881's with Dakars coming soon. I see that you have a 3.4L but are you running a plate bumper or a winch?

Good luck man! Front was much easier than the rear when I did mine a few weeks back. I went with 883s though. Hurry up and post some pics

Nice, I just installed my Dakars with aal in them last Saturday. I've currently got 881s on the front, but will be putting 883s on next Saturday.

The Dakars sit so nice! You'll love them.

Makes more sense. Those 882's would put you nose high otherwise.

It gave me about 3/4"-1" more than the 10 yr old Cornfed spacer.

Had to get a drill bit to drill out the hole in D6XL :(

Time to get back to work...

    Not true.

When I put my lift on the truck was otherwise stock. It was mostly the same setup to what Sean is doing right now, except mine also had a 10mm trim packer up front (so a little more lift in the front) and did NOT have the D6XL in the back so mine would have been lower in the rear than what Sean will have. Definitely wasn't nose high.

An extra-cab might get a little more front lift with 882s but the DC with 882s and Dakars is almost perfect.

    Before lift

After lift. 882s, 10mm Trim packer and standard Dakars

My extra-cab sat level when I went to the 882s. That was with stock bumper and Dakar leaf packs (no AAL).

I had to go to a 1/2" top plate spacer to stay level when I added the bumper, winch and IFS skid.

Did not get the rears done today. I spent over 3.5 hrs, 2 trips to Lowes, 6-8 drill bits and a conical dremel stone trying to drill out the pin hole on the D6XL. The pin is 3/8" and the hole was about 5/16". Man those leaves are tough, but I finally got it done and the D6XL install into the pack.

Called Cruiser Outfitters, and Bryce was apologetic and said for some reason they occasionally come undersized like that, and that they have to drill them out too.

Filed the sides of my factory switch cutout for my daystar rocker switch in preparation of the Hella 700ff's that should arrive tomorrow.. Hopefully the DDM 55w HID kit will come in this week, more realistically next week.
I'll just wire everything up as is for now and then just do the HID conversion and wire in the ballasts whenever the HID's come in. Surely 12ga wire will be enough for two 55w HIDs.
