Yea that's a pretty fair estimate. Gas is more expensive in mid America anyway. I think I tried to set aside around $2k for the trip last year for gas, food, beer, hotels during the drive there and back, etc.

No clue what I actually spent though.

 

yes, needs moar toe powa! Seriously though I'm thinking about gearing and a bigger tran. cooler and see how it does. Would need a couple spare hubs for the trailer though. That is a long fucking ride and I anticipate blowing up a wheel bearing.

It's convincing the wife to spend over 4,000 for skids, front and rear bumpers. Might have to drop it to skids, front bumper and 285's, mess up the rear bumper to convince her to let me get a rear armor! Lol
