I work at Miami international airport.
I work the train line that runs on the roof of the
Airport. It's more like a big electric bus really

    Mid July works for us....;)

Grands will be down and Tacoma will be TOTALLY fixed ( don't a$k)

Would be a GREAT way to meet the Florida Tacoma crowd...;)

We are only a 1/2 hour away so camping over-night might be a mute point.

Hey Snoope! Good to hear from you!

I was hoping to go in June AND July but it may be June OR July. Sundays are my only day off & I have other plans also. xweslingx set this up so I don't want to mess that up out of respect for him but I just want to put this out there:
June or July are good for me. If it remains Sunday, June 22 or another Sunday in July, I'm able to go either way.

I'll tell you this though, If I don't see you soon then I'll see you later on. I don't mind the 2 hour drive & later on as the months get cooler it will be more comfortable out there.

As for camping, it's just too damn hot for that right now, in my opinion. I'm not too worried about the primitive part. I can always sleep in my truck if needed.

    TAC1,

My Taco is mad at me..... needs some TLC and it is not high on my "to-do" list..
Not sure what my "down time" will be when the kids are here so weekends maybe at a premium :)

http://www.lazysprings.com/ trip might becomea shorter trip WP. Franklin Lock & Dam Campground/South 10 minutes from the house...;)

That's understandable. There's never enough time for us to do what we want.

Are you saying that WP Franklin will buy Lazy Springs? I guess there is a "north" one also since you mentioned south.

NO NO NO....The beach/ramp/lock is close to the house.....6 & 8 year olds get "are we there yet" after 15 minutes in the Tacoma....:lalala:.

Yes, The LOCK has camping/rec areas on both sides....North side is larger and has slips for boats to over-night while south side is that magic 10 mintue ride :D....beach/play-ground/boat launch and camping...;)

LSP will be a "perfect Sunday" gig....IF they are in for the ride...

    SURE, I knew that:rolleyes:

How could I have not noticed that with all those beautiful backyard pics that you have posted which are NO WHERE NEAR lazy springs! HAHAHAHA!

Yes, I can relate to the "Are we there yet". I've gone on 12 to 14 hour drives with my wife & boys. I usually leave my house at midnight & drive straight. They stay up late which is good because this way they'll sleep for at least 1/2 of the trip. I "try" to sleep before but adrenaline & excitement keeps me from doing so.

Well, it looks like June 22 may be a sure date. If I don't see you then I'll meet up with you next time. :)

I don't think I'll be able to go in July but I can definitely go in June. I guess we'll see on e the date gets closer. June or July was good for me but most of the trucks on the list already made arrangements for June & they can't change it.

If I am able to go in July I will let you know. Maybe there's a chance you can make it on the 22nd?

    Hello folks,
I'm just putting this out there:

Maybe we can do a BBQ while at this place. Between wheeling & BBQ'ing we can spend a good 4 hours out there. We can all bring something to the meet. I don't know what time xweslingx wants to meet there so I guess he'll post that soon. BTW, It's HOT out there with no shade anywhere so bring plenty of water & I suggest hats or caps also.

I bought this 10 x 10 canopy from Amazon to take out there, or anywhere else I may go. I haven't even opened it yet.

What ever xweslingx wants to do is fine by me but this place is pretty far for all of us so I figure we can make a 1/2 day out of it.

    Thanks
