Hell no, they both have their benefits, like more console space with a column, but I can shift more fluidly with it on the floor and I usually shift into neutral between reverse and drive

Me too. I like column shifters more. My shifter sucks for trying to downshift if I need it.

Ohh, idk, they're both good, its just easier on the floor for me, idk about how your shifters are on the floor though. I would think its easier for toyota to put it on the floor, but I don't know about transmissions

I like the floor shifter personally. What gear are you trying to downshift to?

ECT only work to up shift. And it doesn't do anything unless I have a load. And yeah, turning off o/d drops it down to 3rd gear, but sometimes I need more

Yeah, well the jeep had a shat ton of work done to it, if the fj had that much it could've kept up

They were all factory packages though. The FJ was just the lowest of the 3 haha. That jeep was badass though. and they should have used a tacoma instead of a FJ. Nobody likes the FJ. It's like the ugly cousin nobody talks too haha

Idk, I like the fj. And I would not consider that jeep factory, it gets sent out to a totally separate non-jeep related company to have all that work done and costs an additional 50k dollars on top of Rubicon's price from what I understand, but is that right?
