Cause weight matters so much when it comes to a winch? The Tiger Shark is slow but will work. Wire isnt that bad if you're careful and dont do stupid things with it.

It is the 5.7. I dont think toyota like to put the 4.6 in the CrewMax, havent seen any of them around.

 

Yeah weight is whatever for me. I just would like to keep my front end from completely squatting out lol.

It may be slow, but I'm on a tight budget anyway, so I don't care.

Yeah the 4.7 is in the single and extended cabs mostly. I've seen some 2WD crewmax' with the 4.7 though. It's kinda like putting a 4 banger in a DCLB taco.

 

Got a bottle of shielding gas today. I will never use flux core again . Sooooooo much better.

15.1 out of my Crewmaxx, according to the "info" button. If all you do is drive highway, I'm sure you could get more, I'm all city...

 

I would say 90-95% of my driving is highway.

 

yeah, you should get at least what I'm getting then, as long as you can keep your foot out of it. My dad's new dodge, with the Hemi, gets 15.6, and that shuts 4 of his cylinders off when he "doesn't need them." So, I would say you're correct to think everyone gets similar real-world mileage with full-sized trucks. They are, after all, full sized trucks...

No keepers. A handful of schoolies, and a small sea-bass. My friend had one keeper, but he lost it trying to land it. Either way still enjoyable.
