Improves Fuel Mileage-LOL. You will now be getting the EPA tested mileage for your vehicle. I am not a fan of ethanol. Ethanol free gas is not easily available in Maryland.

 

I have seen a 20 to 50 miles a tank improvement using 100% gas.

I have tested it all, i usually just run 87, but have tested 89 and 93. i get a small improvement, biggest improvement is running 91 no Ethanol gas.

So with the increase in mileage are you now getting the sticker recommended mileage or better mileage than the sticker says you should get?

With 10% ethanol I hover around 20mpg. I should be getting around 22 to 23 mpg.

 

idk... i don’t calculate it.... with 87 and 10% ethanol i get about 280 to 300 miles to a tank with mixed driving and my stupid right foot.(trying to work on that mod) with 91 and no ethanol i get a good 320 to 330 miles to a tank and some times more really Depends if i tow or haul stuff and how much.

 

That's the trouble with these trucks. We use them, and depend on them, to do a wide variety of jobs around the home.

I have ran numerous tanks. the 1st tank i don’t even count because there is still 3 or 4 gallons (possibly more) of the old gas in the tank and lines. after that i’ll usually run 3 tanks of same thing(say 91 no ethanol) and see what my numbers are. I know that mpg calculations should not be based on one single tank.

I may suck at spelling and grammar but i’m not completely stupid like some on here think and act... not saying names....or saying you think that just making a comment.
