WOW! I'd def be in for a weekend campout. I have a "Bed Tent" I always use. In VA... We spend alot of time in George Washington National Forest. As a group, we are extremly respectful of the trails and actually stop to pick up garbage from others!!!

Could possibly be in... My brother is visiting me that weekend to get his sliders welded on. If were ambitious we may be able to meet you out there. No promises yet though.

When ever you get some free time just let us know. We are going to try and make the Mud Fest this weekend , looks like a good time. I would like to do the Rausch Creek trip, we can never seem to find enough time to ever schedule anything like that, always something to do. Have a safe trip.

Im going to try and go to whispering pines hideaway south of syracuse in lyons Ny soon, let me know who wants to go. there are plenty of videos on youtube about it. Its not as extreme as rausch but looks like a good time. It is cheaper than rausch at 35 bones.

It's not even remotely comparable. Nothing very technical there, just mud and some steep hills... And maybe 1/10 the size. I'd swing the cash for Rausch without thinking twice. Not saying it's not a good time, especially for how close it is... Just don't get your hopes up too high.

FYI another Rausch trip is in the process of being organized:

    http://www.tacomaworld.com/forum/north-east/332103-june-july-rausch-trip.html

Oh, and if you do go either walk the trails first or have a buddy with a winch, some of the mud there is DEEEEEP!
