part of me thinks this will be his year, and he'll play every game, and destroy defesnes, then a part of me thinks he wont come back until week 6, play three games, and be back out. I guess the only saving grace is that he doesn't have one injury that is lingering, he keeps getting freak injuries, and comes back just as good as when he went out. idk... I hope he plays, I think if he doesn't, NE releases or trades him as his cap hit is huge, and not much reward if he is never playing. Pats signed a TE, undrafted, who is 6'8" 280lbs.. hopefully he is the next move TE that can line up with Gronk and be productive, or be Gronks replacement. Hoomanawanui has also said that he expects to play a bigger pass catching role this year, which I think would be good, as he has really good hands, but isnt fast, and cant create really any separation.

Gronk is the TE version of Bob Sanders. Absolute game-changing freak when healthy and playing....and trips getting out of the shower to stub a toe and be out for 6 games.

I just don't see him doin much this year. I think he'll get hurt pretty early and have trouble coming back again. I'm still gonna try to draft him in my fantasy league, just in case...

I don't know, for some reason, I just think that now that he's such a "star", he might start going down hill. After all the publicity he gets/has gotten, I just see him as being one of those guys that lets it go to his head.

I can see that, but I think if it was going to happen it would've already. I mean, a torn ACL/MCL is probably the less painful/game ending of injuries that he's had. I would have thought that if he was going to let football go, he would have done it after breaking his back, or breaking his arm twice, or breaking his ankle. I think that as long as he's on the field he'll do fine, he came back last year, and in 6 games he put up 600 yards and 13 TD's... Which is more than half of the yards Edelman got, and quite a few more touchdowns than him as well- and Edelman was the most productive receiver we had. I think this year is a little different, maybe we don't play him on every snap, and maybe we have another tight end that can take a lot of the coverage off Of him, but I think he knows that if he doesn't have a good year this year, his future with the pats, and the NFL is somewhat up in the air... The Raiders or Bucs may take him...

    Not about money, principle.

Lynch is an absolute beast, but he just cashed a 16? million dollar check. They're not about to hand him more money halfway through a 4 year deal. Christine Michael is also a beast, and younger. He's already being paid as a top 5 back. Arguably AP is better, as is McCoy.. Maybe Charles.

I expect him to miss camp and be ready to go against the pack.

It will be interesting to see what happens .. keep in mind he never participates in OTA's and takes no snaps in mini camp. He also takes every Wednesday off during the season. So pretty normal for Marshawn.

    Just bout that action boss.
