For those futbol fans…. (prolly like 3 including me…lol) The World Cup is finally here!
I ususally dont start many threads but maybe this one will get some traffic…

Things that I think are going to be very interesting on the 1st round:

-Im very interested on group D as i think is the group of death with 3 power houses and only room for 2 to move on…
-Spain and Netherlands facing ea. other on their 1st game
-Colombia being one of the S. America's favorite not bringing Radamel Falcao

I hope my beloved United States of America wins. If not the cup, then at least be the best team in North America.

I hope its a good one, some of the stadiums from what i been seeing havent been finished.

Sample Mexico vs Cameroon game the stadium hasnt been done, they play Friday. Looks done on the inside but the outside there lots of construction moment.

Then there lots of protesters hope it dont get too crazy.

 

Bummer for all those injured players , would have liked to see Falcao and Ribery play.

hoping the Ref's don't play to much of a factor this year ....yea right .

 

I heard about the one stadium that obviously cost millions and millions to make from scratch in a town/city that doesn't even have a team/club. WTF?
And the worse parts is that the majority of sitting profits go to FIFA....
I can understand why some Brazilians are pissed

holy crap that is stupid money. Wonder how much of that went into the pockets of FIFA.
