I've installed quite a few of these on trucks. People sometimes cut them off because they can be a little tricky to take out but if the bolts are in good shape and don't mind spending some extra time taking them out you can re use them.

According to installation experiences (search) noted in numerous posts ........ It makes it easier and prevents the bending of the inner fender.

you don't have to cut them if you bend the inner fender a little. bending the inner fender also makes it easier getting them back in

    stuff
Not impossible to do without cutting, but you have to bend a little of the sheet metal out of the way in the wheel well and tap the bolt past the sheet metal in the engine bay. It's a tight fit, but very possible to remove and reuse the UCA bolt. Easier to install the bolt backwards so you don't have to tap it back in.
Probably easier to just cut it. If you're paying a shop to do it, check the extra cost of labor vs new UCA bolts.

I did mine on Monday and bent the inner fenders. It did not require much bending at all.

I just did mine last week. Cut them and bought new ones. $14 bucks a piece. For that price I figured why not.

Passenger side and driver side were vastly different on mine.

Passenger required bending the inner fender quite a bit. Then taking a punch and hammer to help get it ourwas a bit of a pain but still not too bad. Having a partner to help was very nice

Drivers side was easy. Barely had to bend the inner fender. Tapped it right out by myself in all of 5 minutes.

As for going back in...passenger side went in backwards. Driver side. Went back in the way it came out on mine

I had to cut mine. I would of had to bend in my fender almost 1/2". I wasn't doing that.
By cutting and putting it in backwards, it's easy to pull if I ever need to get in there. :)

    Some stuff...
^^^This, just installed Icon Uniball UCA's a week and a half ago on my '13. Bent the fender with vice-grips slightly to remove the OEM UCA, then after Icon was installed bent it back. Piece of cake!
