hmm, makes perfect sense. I mean im pretty damn competitive myself, but I could care less about a ribbon. Im usually just going to 1 uppping my group of friends in whatever activity we do or group in whatever sport you participate in. Usually the unspoken acknowledgement of defeat are the most rewarding haha. Or just the one or two comments of congrats when you trump somone.

Maybe its because ive never been into like team sports or activities where you get ribbons and medals, so I dont really pursue that kind of goal. Like unlike most kids, i dont have a single trophy or ribbon I won from something like that haha

 

my buddy and I have it down pretty good. I can take them off or put them both on in under 5 minutes.

 

But you are dedicated to using the fucking piss out of your truck....i'm not there yet lol....i have lots to do yet...

 

I am kind of this way....only it's more like anything less than what you're shooting for is a failure.

I should get another new motorcycle head this week or next week (the first replacement one was fucked) and I should have my motorcycle running by the end of next week!

Then I can leave the 35s on the taco and not have to change them out, and leave the bitch parked untill I want to go wheeling. Not having to DD that thing will be a welcome relief.

 

how far do you drive a day?

 

This is something i've been working on. Getting 16 mpg in the truck is killing meh. I figured i should get a bike. However, i need to take the BR course....went to take it and the first one was full, not enough people signed up for the second one and they ended up moving me to one in the middle of july. I was mad but now i realize it gives me more time to find a bike. :/

 

It all depends. Maybe 25 miles to work? Maybe on 10 total to a different job? Then going to see friends, head out to nampa or boise every other day for something...it adds up quick. Biggest thing is its a pain to swap the 35s on to go wheeling, and If im going to do 150 miles a week i want to kill the bfg ats. Then there is the 16mpgs at 150-200 a week, compared to 35-40 on the bike. So if I can just park the truck and only use it to play its more convenient.

not to mention riding a motorcycle is 10x as much fun as driving that pig on the road

i bought it, and just got the motorcycle permit (didnt need to take a riding portion) and ill get the full license this year because I dont need to take the riding portion...again, just the computer test again.

with the permit, in idaho, you cant ride at night, ride on the highway, or ride with a passenger. I broke all 3 lol. I can ride motorcycles very well though so i really didnt care.

 

I need to go get the permit before the class so i don't have to pay for the license after i take the class. I just hand them my permit and show them the certificate and i'll get the license.

However, i'm no expert. I've only ever thrashed a drz125 and putted on a dr650. I have lots to learn before i just hit the streets and zip around. I just hope to be city slicking and trail exploring on a dual sport before then end of summer
