I know that this has already been posted before, just thought that with the warmer weather finally here - it's camping season! And people may be interested in a low cost alternative for a little truck camping.
Just got one for myself. I couldn't believe the price ($69.99).
Time to look for an air mattress.

I'd LOVE to get one of these... but then I traded my full sized truck for my Taco... and the 5 ft. bed doesn't really seem like the best option for me now (I'm 6'1" and have three kids... lol) Still gonna get a nice sized tent soon though.

That model doesn't have the rainfly.

For $10 more ($79.99 total), this model has the rainfly.

Tomwil - try the link I added, I am pretty sure it is the same thing. Could be wrong. The picture I added was one of two - one showing without the fly, one with it.
I think in the descrip. they are saying that you can have it on or off but does come with it.

Check to be sure. I know it is 10 bucks, but hey 10's add up quick.

On the one you ordered for $69.99, it says " Optional rainfly for even better weather resistance."

On the one for $79.99, it says " Comes with rainfly for even better weather resistance."

It appears they both use the same pics for the items.

I guess it comes down to you receiving your order, and letting us know if it included the rainfly.

That ad says compact truck tent size fits most beds 72-74". Sound like it's too big for a short bed at only 60"

Not sure, but because the tent uses the tailgate, wouldn't the extra 18" of tailgate help the 5-foot bed meet the 72-74" length?

I called the place that is selling this tent and the person told me that the one that I had listed does indeed have a rain fly. I will give another write up once my tent comes in for those wanting to wait.
    Thanks

It should be here Monday. I will get the pics posted when I get it in and up.
Thinking about a platform set up already.

Here it is! Came in this morning.
First time getting a tent up is a bitch.
When I figured out the pole system, all was fine.
Once the tent was in and secured (lots of "lash down" points) the interior seemed to have a good amount of room. Granted there was no mattress pad, sleeping bag, etc. inside.

Looking forward to getting it into the woods now.
Not bad for $70. Used the link and code I posted above.

Comes with a nice zippered canvas bag, rainfly (did not put it on for the photos), tent pole bag and tent.

Would be really sweet if it had an access window through that back of the tent to the rear sliding window in the truck. Will have to see how I adapt to that in due time.
