    Question for Mike or others.

    So I had used Red Line fluids in the transmission and rear differential at the 30K service. I used the same Red Line fluids at 60K and my entire drive train seems to be running a lot smoother and quieter. I do not remember this much of a difference at the 30K change. Would this be normal for a fluid replacement at the suggested 30K interval?

    My gut feeling tells me that when Toyota installs the fluids at the factory they use a high quality fluid.

    Fresh fluid does a lot for that no matter what the brand. I have not used red line products though. Myself, anything that meets or exceeds the specs I use.
    I'm old school Dino oil. I never switch to syn ever. Seen to many oil leaks start after a switch.

    So now you know you need to replace before 30k.
    I agree on the good fluid. Unless someone is towing, I usually do a 45 service.
    Towing gets it at 30.

    My buddy and the Lotus 30 at the first invitational vintage gran prix at the brickyard. Couldn't juggle work to be there. I am so happy for him. Had a great time and the car and him came home in one piece.

    LOL I do not like the internet at times. This is the 2nd time I replaced the fluids. I did a 30K change and now at 60K.

    Surprised that the spark plugs get replaced at 120K.
