To take it one step further you would have to call the DMV where you think you might live. Sometimes there are local fees based on the county you live. For your case I would contact the Boulder County DMV.

 

We can't get a straight answer either and we live here.

Since we passed a law that they couldn't raise taxes without a vote, they've been raising the hell out of "fees" instead. Also jacking up property value assessments to steal more money

This tax thing is getting absurd. The average American is struggling to make ends meet yet all of our government agencies have the latest greatest and fanciest of equipment possible. I wish our budget was like that.

 

i would be moving around August and that's when my WA registration expires. i will likely try to skate by another year with WA plates. WA registration should run me about $175.

 

What year Taco? Mine was $185 this year. I have a 2007.

 

Without cheating and looking at my other thread post haha, anyone want to guess how much this thing is?

 

We tried that. Moved from CA to CO and delayed registering for a few months. CO charged us back to our relocation date.

Seems fair enough, given all that the state does for us.

I just looked up the last registration for my 2012 and it was 395.86
That's for weld county. Might be more in boulder county. Also might be a BOHICA charge for transferring out of state?
