Also I don't know what you're planning for power steering system, but if you're not upgrading the pump right off the bat I have the 17mm? to -6AN fitting and banjo bolt I used that you can have to make your pump work. Just let me know if you want it and I will send it your way.

However, after upgrading to the PSC SP1200x I can say the difference is worth it. The stock pump did alright, but the response was not what is what stock, nor what it is now.

Naw man nothing was aimed at you. I agree the drive shaft joint is easy to change. Good choice but I've had, shall we call it drive shaft issues in the past. That should read "I can bust drive shafts in ways most don't think are possible". One of those failures cost me a dual case set up in my 86 4runner. I appreciate the offer for the power steering parts but we are build a super sexy reservoir out of aluminum and all PSC stuff out of the gate.

Good idea on going straight to the PSC stuff, but at least check out this resi:

    http://aluminumgastanks.net/billet.html

5th row down all the way to the right.

They are so cheap it justifies not making one. And about 1/3 the price of the PSC one. Just something I stumbled across when I was searching for a resi myself. ;)

World of difference. And mounting that pump on my truck was damn near a stock replacement lol. Its almost like it was made for it.

We are actually in the process of designing a larger capacity aluminum reservoir, and some other things that will be built in house, for our line of Tacoma products.

Josh has given the go ahead to redo all of the Fab work on the rear of his rig, and build a custom 3 link - cantilever suspension.

Almost everything we build for this front and rear 3 link system is designed to be produced as a kit. After we are done putting in the time of considering all of the variables, we should have one of the most solid 3 link systems for this style truck.

The front shock mounts were mig welded. I had to tig weld a set that is to be shipped to Australia. Now that Josh has seen the tig welded set, he wants the same thing on his rig.

I am going to go ahead and make 4 of our almost universal style shock mounts for this truck. They are stylish enough and versatile enough to use in the rear cantilever system. Also, just plain easy to work with, because you can connect them to the chassis, lots of different ways.

Wanted to post up a little progress report. Shock hoops are going in. T-Rex should be standing on her front this weekend. David and I wanted to share these and show the customized version of our production shock hoops for the 05+ tacoma SAS kit we are developing. Every component already has a template made. Assembly jigs and install fixtures are made. These are ready to ship out now.
As the owner of this vehicle I am stoked at how these turned out and as a fellow fabricator i am constantly amazed at the quality David is able to turn out.
Stay tuned for an update tomorrow as we will be in the shop the rest of the night and tomorrow.

What are the plans for bracing the front shock hoops?

Keep up the good work, I'm interested to see how this thing turns out.

As you can see we had a productive weekend. We managed to finish the shock hoops, stand T-Rex up, and fire the engine. The rear end is completely tore out now and ready for us to move back there when the front is tied up. We are waiting on some parts to finish the front up, parts to finish the drive train, and rod ends and other miscellaneous parts for the rear to be mocked up. I suppose that means we are in a holding pattern for the moment. Any ways here are some Progress update photos

Rear end completely clear. Ready to get a Dana 60, 3 link, and cantilever coil over set up.

This is the finished product of the shock hoops. The mock up building photos were posted last night. You can tell that the air inlet was obstructed by the shock tower. We felt the suspension was more important that air inlet location so we will be making a new air box/air inlet cap from aluminum
