Looking for the best California legal cold air intake. Just bought an 09 from a dealer in Arizona and it came loaded with a KN CAI not legal here. Sadly I'm gonna have to swap it. I'm hoping I can simply swap the filter only and leave the housing, piping, and sensor.

    What you guys think?

Sadly, the consensus is, they all suck, and do very little if anything for performance.

Stock pulls air intake temps all of 2-3*F above ambient outside temps.... you dont get much better than that plain and simple

So you're saying the stock setup is as good as any?

In any case I have to put a new one on. Just thought I'd get some input.

Yeah, pretty much the stock OEM setup is as good any aftermarket setup.
And possibly even batter than some.

I personally would look for the OEM setup to throw back on it.
    But that may get expensive?
