    I understand many 18-wheeler tires are retreads and there are people with positive experiences with retreads on their personal vehicles, but I can't get over the belief that retreads are inherently unsafe.

    I ran an older version of their Guard Dogs. Can't beat them for the price and from what I've heard/read, they've improved since.

    I've had two sets of retreads. Both were good. Now! There are those few bad eggs out of 100 sets of tires. But that's with nay company. I also believe they are off road use only? Makes for a good second set of tires for wheeling
