    All I know is when Chris (StAndrew) removed his intake to install the fuel rail for his turbo; his intake was full of oil. That much oil cannot be good going back into the intake. I have his intake in my garage. In my opinion the PCV valve is too close to the intake making it suceptable to sucking up oil from the valve cover.

    All I can say is my trucks idle is a lot more smoother since I added the can yesterday and I drove it around last night and today. It cannot hurt to try it.

    It worked perfectly. If I was on a smooth garage floor, I probably would have just tried to push the axle forward, but I think I'll always use ratchet straps like this in the future!

    I'm gonna violate the "all by myself" job in a few minutes when my wife helps me to manipulate the pax side spring in place for the first bolt. ;)

    yea it was pretty easy to slide the axle forward on the jack stands on my garage floor. i only used a ratchet strap to support the axle from falling out of the drive shaft.

    Eh. Sometimes you just need an extra hand for a second. Id still consider it being done basically by yourself :cool: lol.

    All done. Momma helped for a total of 1 min, just enough to help me thread the pax side spring over the wheel and the rear end above the tail pipe. ;)

    The rear axle definitely gets moved fwd a bit...

    Can you post a picture of your shackle angle? it looks horrible, i dont think it should be vertical at ride height.

    also im curious why it moved forward so much...


    you didnt, when you ordered it by any chance, accidentially get a pack for 95-97? they are 2" shorter

    Dakars I'm assuming. My shackles looked the same way when I installed them. After a day of driving the spring settled and the shackles moved to a more natural angle.
