    :notsure: I break 'em... not fix 'em!

    For the axel I went with a 3500#, 65" hub face to hub face. The guy at trailerpartsdepot.com wouldn't know customer service if it jumped the fuck up and kicked him in the face. Unfortunately they were the only ones I could find who had a 3500# axel @ 65" with the superlub axel.

    For the Hub and Brake Assembly I went with etrailers.com. Now these folks are the schnizzle when it come to customer service. Very AWESOME experience with them on the phone, and therefore they will get the rest of my business for trailer components if I happen to need more.

    I went with the Dexter brake hub with a 10" 6x5.5 bolt pattern so they will be an identical to the Tacoma. Going inside them will be Dexter Nev-R-Adjust 10" drum brakes.

    As you can see this is eerily similar to Jason's (jberry) setup. I have been chatting a bunch with him to match my trailers off-road performance with his. This is why I'm setting up my suspension exactly the same as his. My trailer will be similar to his, but with more cowbell to set it apart. I have several additional tricks I'm going to try and pull off.....;)

    Very Nice start! don't forget the u-bolt kit for the springs ;)

    whether it's a square or round tube axle, make sure to get the proper bolts and plate to mount hte bolts facing up. no need to kill clearance.

    My trailer will be heavier than Jason's because of the additional creature comforts I plan. I will also have additional storage built into mine. I figured if I was going to make the financial commitment I might as well go all in.

    I know Jason had to revalve his shocks and remove a leaf from his setup. So I think I should be about spot-on when I'm done. Either way I'm going to wait to custom order the shocks until I know what kind of weight I'm looking at. My questimation right now is that I will be in the 1400# range empty.

    nice, mine's about 1200 empty right now. already finished my plans for the rebuild though, which will alter that number a bit. just have to figure out spring rate and valving for the coilovers.
