Just got a 2008 bcsb. The low tire indicator light is on. I have checked all the tire pressure. Is there a way to turn that light off? I see there is a button under the dash, but it didn't seem to do anything. Could I have a bad sensor?

Maybe check the spare tire? Some Tacoma's have sensors in the spare.

You could have a bad sensor or the system may need to be reset. IIRC Toyota TPMS systems reset automatically so i'd be willing to bet you have a bad sensor. You'll need to take it to a tire shop to get them scanned to check which one is no good.

If the light is solid once turned on then it's a low tire somewhere in the system OR a sensor battery is going low. As mentioned, with the key ON, check all 5 tires AND the spare and make sure they're the same pressure as listed on the door jamb. If the light remains on, take it to a tire shop and have them test the sensors. For a 6-7 year old car, I'd expect 1 or more sensors to be on their way out.

If the light is FLASHING for 15ish seconds then goes solid, this means a sensor is dead/missing.
