I have a spare Elocker third with fresh 4.88's in it if you need one, 150 easy miles on it. Going to pull it this weekend.

I know, I meant for use as a trail spare. It took a couple weeks to get a replacement for the last one I grenaded, I was wishing I had a spare! They are surprisingly tough, but like anything mechanical will eventually fail, especially if you drive like I do. :D Just trying to get back what I have in to it, $650 in person, $700 shipped. Core is $500 on these thirds.

I don't think I will ever drive as crazy as you! Oh on another note I was about 20 miles away from my spindle popping out of the lower control arm and becoming a statistic lol. Glad that was found!

Does it need adjustment to give the proper pressure (is it fully engaging)? I would think you would notice it slipping in all gears rather than just the top end. Check your clutch fluid as well, but I doubt you are low on it otherwise it would likely not fully disengage and you would grind gears more shifting.

Did you resurface the flywheel when you replaced the clutch? If not that would be your problem. Always put a new disk on new metal...

Hmm. Try to burn it in. Aggressive, (like 1500 rpm) quickly engage the clutch. Try to bark the tires, but not roast them. Do that about 20 times and see if it still slips. Like brakes, sometimes bedding them in helps. This is especially true with kevlar clutch disks. Stop if you smell burnt clutch or if it slips bad. If you had someone do it take it back to them and have them fix it. ...

Microscopically the two surfaces are not mated. The most common indicator is clutch chatter, but slipping can also occur if high spots on the flywheel are riding on high spots on the disk effectively reducing the surface area and therefore the friction available. I know you said they turned it, but that doesn't mean they turned it right. If the disk is made of something like kevlar or ceramic then you have to bed it in. This is common with performance parts. I would take it back to the dudes who installed it and have them unfuck it personally, but you could try to bed it and see what happens. Even going back and forth in the driveway would do it, it doesn't take long.

so im annoyed... Any of you who swapped new rear shocks in have issues? The damn foxes I have, the eyes with sleeves are a little bigger then the bracket on the axle. I just spent 2 hours trying to get ONE in with no luck. I even tried spreading the bracket slightly, but its only spreading the opening only or twisting the ends. Any ideas what my next route is? trick perhaps? Im so over putting the LT kit on... :/

im getting really pissed at it. Their in such a spot that trying to beat just one out is nearly a waste of time, and i cant seem to get leverage enough to bend the whole part of the bracket open. Bout to say F it and just run leafs for life haha.

    Wut?
It's not rocket surgery man. Use a bolt with two nuts on it and back off the outer nut to spread it apart. If all else fails post pictures so we can help you.

Im just going to shove a bigger pry bar in tomorrow and bend them open. I didnt want to distort them to much, but Im pretty sure the lower shock mount bolt will close them up nicely lol.

Pictures Rob. I didn't have any issues with fitment of the 2.0 or 2.5s when I installed. The only issue I had was compressing the 2.5 to get on the axle.

I got it, used logans trick to spreading the axle mount apart. Never thought of that lol. She getting an alignment as we speak. The rear is a bit higher then the front, but with the new EXPOs I assumed it would be.
