I searched this site to see if anybody used this size tire to see if it would work before I bought them but, couldn't find anybody. Just came home after having them mounted and they work great. No rubbing and very quiet road noise. This tire is almost the same diameter as the standard Dunlop 245x75-R16 that came stock. 30.5" vs 30.6" for the Nittos. Speed at 55-60 mph only adds 2/10ths of a mph. No rubbing at all. My Tacoma is a 2013 standard cab 4x4 with stock suspension.

That looks really nice! I have a 14 regular cab ive been thinking about goin with this size on. Nice to get an idea of what it looks like. Ive read on a sticky you can run 265 75 16 without a lift but ive seen posts with guys stating they had to remove theyre front mud flaps because of it which I dont want to do. I think this is a nice compromise.

I am a big fan of the Nitto Terra Grapplers. I have a set on a 2013 Jeep Unlimited and my son has them on his 2012 Ford F150. They run very quiet and do great in the snow and rain.
The ride is a little firmer but, I like it that way. The Nitto's are about a half inch wider than the Tacoma stock Dunlop tire and almost identical in diameter.

Ya I actually just got to see them in person the other day at walmart actually.. didnt realise they had as much tread depth as they do. I dont know why but I was under the impression they werent that aggressive of an a/t. Looked like they would be a very good tire in snow. How do they wear?

I have 20,000 on the Nitto's on my Wrangler Unlimited and they still look new. They have been rotated once. I have read because they are a softer compound, in really hot climates (like Arizona) they tend to wear faster. Here on the upper east coast, we shouldn't have an issue with that. This past winter, in all the snow we had, I never needed to use 4 wheel drive. The Terra Grapplers also do very well in the rainy, slushy, freezing rain mixture we get frequently in my area.

If you are considering these Nitto tires, here is a comparison from the original stock 245x75-R16 using the tool from this forum:

As you can see, the difference is minimal and you end up with a way better tire without having to do suspension mods or having the speedometer
re-calibrated. And, you don't need to buy different rims. :)
