Hiya Gang. Got more Salmon. 4 of us brought home 138 Reds and 1 King this time. Time for a nap before work; saving the vacation hours to use for another fishing trip. [/QUOTE]

    Morning all:
Now that sounds like a good fishing trip, and a lot of fun!
    What are the Reds; sockeye?

    Another fishing trip!!!!!! :woot:

Haven't heard any complaints yet. But then, we basically bought it and then I went fishing.

    I hope she's happy with it. ;)

Yep, Sockeye from the Copper River. It's the best and all else pale in comparison. :D

    Mornin' Carl.

    Morning Rob; BUDDY! :D
Too bad I'm not closer, could go for some fresh salmon!:hungry:
When we went to the NY rivers, and caught Chinook and Coho, it seemed that everyone smoked them. Those fish weren't that good without being smoked. Maby they were better out in lake Ontario, but I never went out in the open water for them.
No sockeye in the area that I fish. :pout:

I love smoking the Chinooks. The fillets are so thick that they come out soft and slightly juicy, about like a lox, only with more of the smoked flavor. They're delicious. Think I'm going to smoke some this weekend.

Good morning and a happy Fathers Day. Just ordered me a gift, more Kona coffee.

Day 2 of 4 days for early voting is complete. Day 3, for me is on Monday.

The Voting Judge job is a long day, 8am till about 8:30pm, but I am with a lot of nice people so the time is pretty easy to do.

Finished processing the last of the latest haul Saturday evening about 3 hours before time to leave for work. Quick bite to eat and too short nap; rough slow shift tonight. Never fails, always the slowest workload when the work would be welcome to burn up the time. ;)

No specific plans, Kristi arrived with the grandkids about 30 mins before I left for work. But I'm thinking some grilled Salmon would be an excellent idea. :hungry:

Have a wonderful day enjoying your family and the 4 cheese lasagna; a Very Happy Father's Day to you Sir. :)

    Rob:
When I went fishing in the bay the first mate on the boat would clean the fish on the way back to the dock. He always got a big tip! Too bad the Captain retired he was a great guy and we always caught fish.
