Anybody have any experience with rifle scabbards on dirtbikes? I keep seeing 'yotes when I'm out goofing around on the bike.

Yah. I used to use a leather one with a mares leg 30-30 strapped to a fork. It worked ok, but got muddy. Now I pack an AR in a gunslinger pack. I stand up and ride 95% of the time, but if the pack is loose you can kind of shift the barrel beside the seat so you can sit comfy. I have also used four wheeler handlebar mounts with some success, works best with a short lever gun or AR.

Once upon a time I used to be in Pendleton twice a year. My sister was in the Rodeo a few years back too. She was the Molalla buckaroo Queen too back in 2009 I think.

That wouldn't be a bad option, I spend a lot of time standing too. I usually have a little pack with me anyway. I do need to pick up a good hunting pack anyway...

Good Lord it looks so small haha.

This weekend I'll be heading to the squirrel hunting mecca near John Day, Or. if you are serious. I think everyone is scared to shoot any of their 22 ammo and the little bastards are everywhere.

.22 on a squirrel? I use a BB gun for those little bastards. .22 makes it too easy.

I use bb guns on them too. 12 gauge bb gun. :D These aren't eatin' squirrels, these are "sage rats" that live in the ground in colonies. You hunt them in big open fields where shots range from 25 yards to 250 yards, or further if you have the optics and velocity for it.

Ahh Ok. They do look like squirrels. Wish I had some time. I'd be over to blow some of them varmints up. I need to pick up some more guns...

Thankfully the wife finally has a job so I can start saving for them!
