Ordered my all pro rear bumper the other day. Post up your pics of your truck with the all pro rear installed. Just want to see some while I'm waiting on mine to come in.

Also, did y'all get a flip up license plate bracket? If so, which one and where did you get it?

That bumper you linked is on crooked from front to back and would drive me bat shit crazy. I love those bumpers but I would have to fix that.

Here is mine, got it bare metal so I could acetone it, self etching primer it and then regular prime it myself before I bed lined it for cheaper than what All Pro wanted.

Im gonna get mine blasted and powdercoated. I have a contact at an ornamental metal place that is hooking me up. I'm thinking about doing a textured powdercoat in black.

What's the price on the bare? Compared to the coated?

Bare is $499, I don't think they offer powdercoating on the rear bumper. I didn't see it as option...

I ordered direct from all pro. I would assume they have the best price... No markup that you would have if you were buying it elsewhere.

Yes, it's a hidden hitch and will be behind your license plate. It's an additional $149. That's why I was asking if people were using a flip up license plate bracket.

He says he fixed that and re-aligned the bumper later in the thread.

BTW, this isn't normally how this works. A manufacturer sells their products in large quantities to vendors at discounted prices. This is how they movie volume and don't deal with customer service issues for individual customers all day long. Whatever the vendor sells an item for between cost and MSRP is their profit unless the product purchase agreement does't include a MAP (Minimum Advertised Price) or other price fixing. In fact, a manufacturer does NOT want to sell below MSRP as they will undercut their vendors who buy in volume and they won't want to buy their products anymore. This is why you often find products for MSRP directly from the manufacturer (sometimes they sweeten the deal w/free shipping to get around that) but the same thing through another vendor is actually less expensive. In summary buying directly from the manufacturer isn't always the cheapest because there is no 'mark-up' over MSRP and in most cases you can find products for cheaper through a vendor.
