Yup, these have no air ride and are crazy stiff. $15,000 and it seems like one breaks every other day

Me either, I'm just happy to have such fast internet. I guess each dorm building has it's own internet center terminal, because everybody else in on base housing has slow internet.

 

My internet was HORRIBLE, switched to the local company and it became 2x better than what i had before but is still pretty bad. I can only watch youtube in 720p with no buffering. 1080p and it buffers every once in a while :/

 

Only one ISP is provided on base. So unless you want to try using a hotspot, you're forced to use Charter. I'm getting 35-50mb/s though, so I'm happy. MUCH better than the <1.5mb/s I had back home.

 

What you say you had back home....is like the most i think i've ever had :|

Dang, I'm surprised somewhere that far North has that bad of quality haha

I remember how awesome I thought it was when we first got the "high speed" internet in 2009. The military had introduced me to a lot of good things

 

26 down 3.6 up is apparently the average for my area. That sounds about right.

 

That's a lot better than what I had back home then haha

We got up to 3mb/s when we first got it, then after everybody that could get in the area did, it never got about 1.5.

 

I had 1.5 at the most until about two years ago though.

I remember when i got my 4th gen ipod touch. My internet was so slow at home, i couldn't watch youtube videos on it but if i took it to my high school, they played just fine. And school was only a half mile from my home

What's funny is that it says I'm faster than 70% of the U.S. and your faster than 72% haha
