duty calls guys, y"all have a good one

 

Hey MQQSE, how do you like your ProEFX heated towing mirrors? I was going to do the heated mirror mod but now I am considering these. Do they stick out much further than stock when folded down?

 

16.5 hr day is no bueno

 

dude it is brutal...but the money is so sweet.

no doubt. Its kind of a bum deal this weekend though because I have to go home and try to sleep for 6 hours or so, wake up and spend some time with the padre, and then be back to work for another 12 hrs at 3 in the afternoon.

 

Glad to know I'm not alone in this feeling. And when/if this shift ever ends, I'm on leave 'til 1 July.

I love them. They do stick out a bit but I got used to it quickly. I answered this question with exact measurements in the GB thread; let me see if I can find the post. I'd step out and measure now, but it's not my night to drive our carpool, so my truck is 35 miles away at the park n ride.

Give me a little to find it.

 

Ok, the guy didn't ask about total extension from the truck, but about how far to where the mirror started. I'll get you the exact total distance out from the truck in the morning when I get home. From the GB thread: \/\/\/\/\/

By the way, I'd been wanting heated mirrors since I got my truck; figured these would make my towing duties easier and get me heated mirrors at the same time.
