Yes, should slip in. If they dont, measure from the tip of the recovery point back 2 1/2in and then sand/notch the shorter top edge up to that mark a little until it slips in(reason I say 2 1/2" is because thats how far I stick them out the face of the bumpers).
I make the cutouts to be a tight fit, but probably 1 in 5 requires a slight bit of work like this on the recovery point to get them to drop in. Just depends on how the winch tray fits into the center section. I believe the forming shop may have been very slightly off on the bends on the 1 in 5 leading to this, but I prefer sanding a little rather than welding a gap on a critical strength piece so I've left the cutout dimensions the same through the years.

They're on my website for purchase.

running a bit low on stock at the moment though so I'll need to order more from the printer in a few weeks... Only Medium and Large's are on hand right now.

Interesting. If it's the side, then by all means just grind that outside edge of the cutout a tad to get it to fit through the slot and a little closer to the side upright as you said. Doing a full weld around the interior of the recovery point as pictured above is how their intended to be installed
