    Oh I will when the time comes I just replaced mine about 30k ago and they seem fine. Im gonna toss them in the tool box for a just in case Oh shit moment when driving cross country in 8 days.

    Glad everything is nice and quiet up front now, I did the ECGS on my access cab and did it on my double cab over the winter. very pleased with their product.

    Had some time last Thursday afternoon so installed my new assembly on my passenger side. Symptoms originally were when turning right the bearing would get quiet which normally indicates a bad right front.

    Super easy on a PreRunner with simple hand tools and a bottle jack. Took about 1-1/2 hours going slow and cautious. However, no joy on the noise. The old passenger side had just a little bit of noise compared to the new one which is dead quiet.

    Sooooooo...decided to put the "old somewhat iffy passenger" hub on the driver's side. Man, when I got the caliper off the driver's side and spun the rotor that bearing on the driver's side sounded like it had rocks in it - ha. Just backwards of what the noise indications were.

    Since I was now an expert it only took about 3/4 hour and a couple beers to put the old questionable passenger side on the driver side.

    Can't wait to get the new bearing next week for the driver's side. Should have ordered a pair in the first place. Probably can do the swap now in about 1/2 hour and 1 beer.

    Now, if I can just get rid of the tire noise from those BFG AT's.

    Forgot to mention the outcome so far. Much quieter than before even using the old passenger hub on the driver's side. Should be just fine after replacing the driver's side with the new one which should be here this week. Thanks again Kevin.

    My only problem so far is I didn't torque my lug nuts to spec during re-install. Just put them on what I thought was tight using my short ratchet and 21mm socket with just a dab of anti-seize compound on each lug. After a couple days tooling around Galveston Island I noticed some abnormal "clunking" in the front. All my lugs had worked loose but caught it in time before any damage. I went back with my torque wrench at 83 ft. lbs.

    Thank you for the feedback Bruce. Diagnosing a bad wheel bearing can be tricky but you stumbled across it.

    I find myself checking my lugs quite often, especially after a wheeling trip. A friend of mine had lugs come loose and shear all of the studs off, doing a lot of damage. A member on here had the same thing happen after having a shop rotate tires :eek:

    I replaced my driver side with one of Kevin's assemblies last fall. Now I've got a bad bearing that disappears when I turn left, fingers crossed I'm in the same situation as you and bad passenger even though symptoms point to the driver side (new bearing).
