Thhhhhats right, you're a San Diego SoCal guy now Mark, this coming winter is going to be interesting with what appears to be a true El Nino~ setting up off the coast of South America, these have a sometimes devastating effect on So CAL, A LOT OF rain/snow in local mnts , such as they are

I'll be around this winter that's for sure, so I hope to make it out to some of the meets down here and get to see some of your guys' rigs

Signal Peak in CA

 

Great spot!

We were there last year as a family scattered the ashes of someone who worked at the signal shack. Cool to hear some of the stories.

 

Enjoying the scenery, this was a great camping trip in the eastern sierras.

Thank you Ian! It was beautiful up there, went up to Kaiser Pass, that was wicked! Next trip I may head up to gold rush country.

 

Look for Ellis Peak. That's a really nice spot too. Lake views

The Kaiser pass road is a bitch, especially if you do it at the end of a long trip all day and night, and do it at night. Fucker is looooong.

Wow great eye, that's exactly where we were! We stayed at the McGee Creek campground and did some fishing and hiking in the area, beautiful place!

 

It's so nice up there, I didn't want to go home!
