Yep I used that a lot but I didn't want to bring my phone into the grand canyon so I bought the remote and it's awesome

 

I haven't used the remote once honestly.... Haha

I haven't been anywhere that I wasn't able to bring my phone with me. I just turn the wifi on for a minute to make sure it's positioned correctly and then turn the wifi back off.

 

ugly little cars have come a long way.

 

i love the wifi for wheeling. seeing what the gopro sees is great, but not having to get in and out of the truck to turn it on/off and start/stop recording is a beautiful thing.

 

I usually have mine close enough to where I just have to stick my arm out of the window haha

Now that I have the power cable extension I can just leave it on while I'm wheeling. Be much nicer not to have to change out batteries ever again while wheeling.

 

phone here was not a good option and I could control the camera just by pushing buttons on my wrist not having to look at the camera or take the helmet off in the duckies.

That's awesome! I'm jealous....

There really isn't much of anything to do around here that I can use a GoPro for awesome footage, need to bring my mountain bike up here with me next time I go home...

I must've missed that. I don't really live in a big city. 70k people or so. I drove the next town over for the Ford dealership.

 

Not for me. I used to live in a city with 1.5 million people. That's a big city for me.
Actually anything 100k people or more I'd consider a big city.

 

eventually....you ALL will be related somehow.

My town has about 18k people.......and 1% black population, which is my family and me.

 

I'd say a small town. I used to live outside a town that size when I was in high school. There's only one traffic light; only reason it's there is because the highway runs through the town.

There was 1.5 million in Phoenix proper last year 4+ million in the greater Phoenix area. That must be where you are.
