Old people. I love it up north. granted ive never dealt with snow for more than 7 days at a time, but i love a real winter. Im tired of this hot ass state

that scares me driving that far and beating on my truck. I dont care doing one or the other, but both at the same time is scary

 

Just as hot up here. Snow sucks here, just enough to make a mess of things and have to deal with absolutely stupid drivers.

 

Lived in Wa. state from 76 till 80..Loved it but for the winters .Hell on earth is frozen rain blowing sideways & you have to work out in it!!

working outside in any state can fuck off. but i can see why old people hate snow and ice

 

because I originally had not really wanted to do the 4x4 conversion anymore so I was going to just run those. But now after giving it some real thought after over the past couple months, if I want to get more into the whole offroading scene, 4x4 is a must. So im just going to run these maxtrac spindles and use them until I have all the parts/time to do the conversion then gusset the factory ones and re-install them.....but as I said....I have no idea WHEN I'll be able to do this, I would love to have it done before the end of the year

you guys are funny the conversion will happen, im not just going to get rid of my truck just because...I cant, converting her to 4wd will make her even more mine

 

I can understand not wanting to get rid of your truck dude. I get real attached too. however, I think what people are saying is that you can buy an older model toyota p/u 4x4 for what you are about to invest in a conversion. primarily as a second vehicle type thing and keep your beast as a dd. That's what i would do and have been looking at recently.
