    Washed it.
Threw some quick nano detailer on it (useless IMO)
Took the mud flaps off for looks.

I like the looks of it better without the mud flaps. But I just don't know if I could run my truck without them.

What's the big deal with the mud flaps? I understand you don't want to kick rocks and stuff at drivers behind you. But are you driving on gravel roads all the time? Are you doing burnouts in those highly trafficked dirt road areas? I really don't think this is as big of a deal as you're making it out to be. Leave your rear flaps on and ditch the fronts. The only thing the front flaps help with is keeping your rockers from getting chipped.

They throw gravel on the winter roads here as well as mag chloride.

I'd like to prevent kicking rocks up as well as splash back while trekking up and down mountain passes as a courtesy. I see trucks with no mud flaps kicking up rooster tails of schmeg on these roads and just shake my head.

I might just throw the flaps on during the winter months as a compromise.

And for the record I do donuts in dirt parking lots while blaring Waylon Jenning's Good Ol' Boys on my stereo.... left arm extended out the window giving the Dio horns with my fingers

Any reason not to run stock style lug nuts with my after market wheels, other than it looking dumb?

    This.

It all depends on what size tires you're running and where you regear to and how you drive.

Accounting for the increase in circumference, I saw roughly a 1 mpg increase when I want to 33s with stock gears. It dropped when I regeared to 4.56. Part of the reason why was with the stock gears I gave up on jack rabbit starts because I knew it wouldn't happen. Regearing made it a bit fun again and the mpg's dropped accordingly. :D

Most aftermarket wheels don't work with the oem lug nuts.

Ok. Guess I need to go get more lug nuts. Bought 1.25 instead of 1.5.

When I still had my T100, I never ran with mud flaps. The worst part was in the Spring when the roads were full of slush, but I figure if people are that dumb to follow that close they deserve to have their vehicle sprayed with slush. Just my thoughts. My truck never threw debris far enough for me to make it a concern.

Same. But not by choice. First wheeling trip the front ones got ripped off. Hopefully they're doing well wherever they may be.

Still have the back ones as I'd get a ticket immediately plus don't wan to be a dick to other drivers.

It took me about 10 years to come up with the brilliant idea of removing my mud flaps before going wheeling. I can't even begin to tell you how many times I've run back down the trail to retrieve one, two, or three mud flaps. Still have them all to this day.

And yes, I'm a slow learner.

You'll get over it. Flare less is the shit

Take em off and leave them off. Sliders will keep the rockers from getting chipped
