    Drove from San Diego Ca to bay St. Louis Ms and of the 5 tanks I've calculated so far I got over 20 MPG on 4 of the tanks and 19.7 on one tank.

    Flairs, no flaps(never had them) and paints chipped all to hell. But looks pretty good from about 20 feet back.
    I went with flairs because of rain and road crap getting kicked up along the sides, mirrors and windows. But they really are a double edged sword, they keep the visible stuff fairly clean, but collect lots of dirt and sand, small gravel, and then moisture leading to rust behind them.

    if you're running a large tire and a lot of weight, yes.

    Takes load off the motor, thus less power is needed, thus, less fuel.

    I thought about taking my flares off but my paint is pretty scratched underneath from all the dirt that gets trapped in there. Plus I thought it looked funny without them lol. I ran mud flaps for a while but they eventually got ripped off so I just kept them off. Plus without them I think it makes your tires look bigger. :D

    Your truck looks so sweet.

    And yes, today is the first time my flares have ever been off my truck. The backside of the flares were damn near fully packed with dirt and rocks.

    I was shocked.

    Another reason why I might be leaning towards flares is because of a potential one off custom piece from Hurr Durr Fabrikashuns. :spy:

    I only have a couple of tanks on my 4.56 (was 4.10 w/33's) and it dropped a tiny bit just commuting (.5-1 mpg less). But there are still other variables and not enough trials to make a conclusion. It has been windy AF lately.

    It might be better than 4.10s when I'm loaded down but its a wash. Either way, gas is 'spensive

    X2. It's really more about load than rpm. With my 2.7 & 4.30's on 31s I get better mileage (according to calibrated ultra gauge) while spinning at 3000-3100 rpm, which is about 70mph than I do going 55, 60 65. There is much less load at 3k than any other rpm. Generally get 19-21 mpg instant, otherwise it goes down to 14-18 mpg depending on load

    I have no idea. Would they be in the leaf spring assembly or separate pieces?

    They are usually separate pieces. Just little triangles of metal with a hole through them for the center pin.

    I have a pair of 2 degree shims, I'll bring just in case. You may or may not need them, every lift seems a bit different in that respect.
    I ended up using 4 degree shims and dropping the CB 1/2"
    This is to align the driveshaft with the pinion and prevent vibrations.

    I am frickin pissed...as in filing a MN AG Fraud Complaint pissed.

    When I bought this in March, the Toyota Dealer sold it to me as (they) replaced the frame on the vehicle.

    Last week, I found that they had tack welded a nut to where the top plate stud should go. Today, while trying to install the new suspension, I found a second nut welded to the top plate stud. Only this time they welded the nut to the stud AND welded the nut to the frame support.
