I am looking for a aero turbine 2525xl muffler who has the best prices or does anyone on the forum have a site with a tacoma based discount?

It looks like most people use the 2525xl instead of the 2525 so i will go with xl.

ebay like $98 shipped...$50 to weld in..I tipped another $10, sounds perfect and $160 wouldn't have done it any other way.

At shop with muffler. They said to mount direct it will be on an angle. Or they can add pipe to make it level. Also looking at $135. Per manager who seems like a douche. Waiting for him to lift it to confirm. Ball parked it for now. Going in air in 15.

135 for install is pretty steep. As Simon mentioned, it costed me around $45 to cut the old one off and weld the 2525xl on it.

I agree on price. When u had it done. Didn't go in on angle. Stock muffler is high and exit is in middle.

Just went out and checked. I see what you're saying now. They added about a foot and half long pipe going towards the engine

That's what I was thinking if they do it. A guy waiting here mentioned bending pipe. I was like. Add straight pipe further up. Try to avoid bends. I am surrounded by morons.

Even though the price is a little steep, you want it done today. You're going to love the way it sounds! Especially the very first start :D

That's what I am thinking. May just do it. Still basically new exhaust for little over 200. Waiting to hear quote after he lifts it

There's little to no drone. Yes you can hear it a little while cruising, but that isn't drone. Drone is the frequency that is overly loud and annoying. My old JBA had tons of drone. This has none.
