I was walking out to my truck today and since I put the bed rack on, it seems it lowered the rear a little and now it looks more lifted all around than before lol :notsure:

Sits level now btw. Just thought I'd throw something random out in the mix :p

I got Dakars, the extra leaf is seating behind my two front seats. I should probably install before my tent gets here. :anonymous:

Hey at least you got to smell the sweet nectar that is a CVT RTT lol. I gave mine up to a local guy here that was making a trip to the lower 48 before even seeing it...and now they're delayed until July so I guess nice guys really do finish last haha.

    So your not keeping yours?

    :woot:

Something had rubbed/ hit it and broke the material on the bottom. No hole or anything but you could push on it and feel where it broke. And it looked as if it was in a compressor, the bottom was all wavy and that caused the outer rails to wave also. I didn't even take pics, I just refused it and left.

Hate to say it but i agree with box rocket.
i understand wanting to do it just for the principle but be ready to spend money out of pocket and lots of time.
Most of the time things like this are not even worth going to court because you end up spending more time/money than you get back.

How ironic considering you drilled a hole through mine.

    Congrats.

@ dispatch, definitely sucks, but cut and move on. I would however let the dealer know about the issue. Maybe even send to them in writing as an email, just so it is on record, and they'll need take a closer look at their vendor.

I get what you are saying but they confirmed that they did the work. They took receipt of the vehicle, replaced the frame and it sat on the lot until I bought it. The only way these issues could have occurred was for their service tech to do it.

Regardless, they're taking care of things so its good. Just delays my lift installation a few days.

That's nice that they are fixing it up for you. Sounds like the right thing to do.

    Service Manager was PISSED!

I explained that my concern was that there may be other hidden issues as a result of the frame replacement. We had a good conversation and I told him that it was pointless to replace the struts as I'm lifting it. They are:

    -Doing a full inspection
-Replacing the top plate so I can drive it home (they towed it on their dime)
    -Giving a 1 year warranty
-Paying $500. He asked how much my lift cost and offered to help pay for the lift.
