Hey guys I'm looking for a good shop to get an alignment done in a 20mile radius of bolingbrook. Ntb = idiots Firestone = ntbs rejects and I know of a good shop in Joliet (spring align) but they do heavy truck work, don't take appointments and are only open during the week. Its a pain to get it done there.

    Easy.

I drive 30 miles to go to these guys. They are the company we (CT4x4) uses to put on wheels and tires on for our customers. They see off road Toyotas on a regular basis. Especially, Alex he did my alignment yesterday, which was a huge PITA because I flattened my Cam tabs.

I would tell mention you were recommended to them from Chi-Town 4x4.

Wow! I honestly never had an issue with alignment wheeling around here. When I went out to Moab this past month the Golden Crack is what ended up causing my alignment to go out of whack.

This was just after we did the crack. I will have videos up soon on my YouTube channel. (Link to my channel is in my signature)

I used to need an alignment after almost every trip out, but I am pretty rough on my truck. Eventually I had it aligned and tack welded the cams so it couldn't move. Worked like a charm. Lots of the LT desert guys do that so I thought it was worth a try.

Also the TC LCA cam gusset kit is worth it's weight in gold, no way to flatten out the tab then lol. Actually Joe was just asking me about them last week...

Stupid me...didn't realize it was you. Got a new phone...apparently some numbers were saved on my Sim and didn't port over to my new phone. I figured it was him since he was the only 630 number not stored in my phone...but now I know it was you lol. Saved you again.

So what's the plan for the weekend? I think I am only staying Saturday night and will stay wherever everyone else is.

Not sure I definitely will be there Saturday morning early. If it is supposed to be hot like it has been I might pass on the camping. It has been so damn muggy.

Here is me taking my truck up Hells Gate in Moab.

It tracks fine but the tires are wearing really bad and its due. I did some pretty extreme wheeling the past couple outings and I know something's not right.

Can't wait to sas this thing so I can align it myself.

Tape measure and five minutes, lol :D

Seriously I haven't had to touch my alignment yet, just bend the damn tie rod back straight and she tracks fine again. Time for Heretic Fab heat-treated chromo tie rod

Nice vid, looks like a good time. Yeah it has been pretty muggy, maybe I will swing for the Hotel Attica if it gets really bad.

You head down 41 to get there? We should meet up in the am. I usually like to get there when they open at 9 to get a full day in.

Or learn how to drive and don't hit it on rocks!! :flipoff2: LOL:D

That's the only thing i miss about my jeep, garage alignments...

Hey man im looking for a ford HP dana 60 for a good price if you see any deals out your way let me know. I was going to build a toyota axle for this truck, but honestly it would be cheaper in the long run to just go full widths right off the bat, which is where i would end up down the road anyway. Hell RCVs with my buddies discount would be 90% the cost of a 60!!

Thinking hp60 front, shaved 14bolt rear on leafs (too dumb for links), possibly a radius arm setup if my crazy buddy wants to build another one, 37s and street "legal".

No shit, right! What usually gets me is slipping off a rock and knocking it on the way down. I stopped plowing it into stuff after the first trip, lol.

Links are just intimidating at first, they are pretty damn easy to set up, if you go leafs, you wont be happy until you end up linking it anyway...

I will keep an eye out, I usually just cruise CL everyday.
