Now that you say that my old ranger had a vacuum leak and was acting similar. I had to take it to a dealer to get the to diagnose it is there a way to test for yourself?

Well I my truck towed to Hendrick Toyota....and they decided the problem was wrong plugs and wires (somehow the parts store sold me the wrong ones). They also said I need a injector/fuel system cleaning, but that is too expensive so it will have to wait. The service tec I dealt with was terrible he was very short with me and my brother in law (A Hendrick Hyundai Tec). It got so bad I had to call and talk with the service manager to get any real information, she was great to deal with and at the price of $200 (plugs, wires and time) she has assured me that my truck will drive off the lot. Running a little rough until I get the injector cleaning done. Anyone have any experience cleaning fuel systems or what to use??
